Bereavement Support Practitioner - Glasgow Outreach

Our client supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year they train c. 10,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.

• Title: Bereavement Support Practitioner - Glasgow Outreach
• Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
• Contract: Permanent, full time
• Salary: £24,000 per annum
• Base: North Glasgow and surrounding areas

Since 2016 they has been offering bereavement support to children, young people (up to the age of 25) and their families across Glasgow. They are now expanding this service and are seeking to recruit an Outreach Worker to support the Glasgow Bereavement Services Team Lead in the development, provision and evaluation of this support in localities to the north and east of Glasgow.

Applicants should have a qualification in education, health, social care, or counselling, experience in working with bereaved children and young people and be passionate about enhancing support for bereaved families.
