Our client, a highly innovative UK Health charity that has monumental impact across the UK, is looking to recruit a Senior Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer to join their team on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Mobilisation Manager, the Senior Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer will primarily focus on developing their local influencing network by creating innovative ways to engage and mobilise people living with, and at risk of, a well-known and specific disease that affects millions of people in the UK.

Working across regional and national teams, you will actively build on the charity's model to increase the impact and number of people who are involved in campaigning and influencing at a local level, while also making the case for campaigning internally. Collaborating with colleagues in the Volunteer Development team, you will develop new tools, training, and communications to support the mission while also capturing and sharing good practices, ideas and activities that increase impact. Importantly, while supporting the evolution of local campaigns, you will develop key messages and calls to action to provide compelling and creative opportunities for supporter mobilisation, while also reviewing and evaluating local campaign activity to ensure the broader strategic objectives are met.

In order to succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in campaigning for change alongside demonstrable experience in devising tactics to involve people in 'grassroots' local campaigning and influencing activities. This person will have previously put together local campaign plans. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will be adept at creating and nurturing successful partnerships while being confident at influencing and persuading colleagues to get on board with the overarching mission of the Campaigns & Mobilisation Team.
