Executive Assistant & Officer Manager
Are you seeking a diverse role within a growing organisation? Have you coordinated complex travel and diary requirements?
Prospectus is thrilled to support an empowering NGO as they seek to recruit their first Executive Assistant and Office Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an incredibly exciting time to be part of an evolving and highly regarded organisation that operate internationally.
Fundamentally, you will support the Chief Executive to ensure his schedule is effectively managed and travel and accommodation diligently coordinated, as well as organising briefing papers and overall preparation ahead of SMT and Board meetings. You will lead on ensuring the working environment is continuously developed and optimised while also acting as the main contact for suppliers and any repairs. Additionally, you will be involved with the welcoming of new starters, developing the process while also providing individuals with the best experience possible as they join the organisation. You will also have an opportunity to be involved in the coordination of off-site conferences, activities and celebrations!
The successful candidate will need to be confident in 'managing upwards' a busy CEO in an administrative capacity, as well as having broader office based skills. Demonstrable experience in coordinating complex travel and logistical arrangements (ideally internationally) is essential, as are exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. The charity is looking for an individual with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude who will relish the chance to work for a dedicated Not For Profit organisation.
The Executive Assistant and Office Manager is situated at the heart of the organisation and will be crucial to the organisation's overall growth and success. If you are looking for an opportunity to maximise the effectiveness and impact of a cause-driven charity, we urge you to apply.
Please apply by providing a Word version of your CV; cover letters are not required at this stage.
