West London Zone is a partnership of local organisations working together to ensure that all the children and young people in their community across three square miles of inner West London reach their full potential. They do this by having their West London Zone Link Workers help charities, local authorities, schools and other organisations deliver the best possible opportunities and support to the children and young people in their community. Within the next 5 years, they have a plan to reach 3,000 children and young people.

Finance and Resources Director

Salary: From £60,000 depending on experience

Location: West London

The Finance and Resources Director is a newly created role at West London Zone. As a member of the Senior Management Team, and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be providing inspirational leadership and will take strategic responsibility for the financial management of the organisation. You will also lead the implementation of the organisation's financial modelling and forecasting and will ensure that all activities are financially viable.

Leading a team of four, you will significantly contribute to the development of the organisation's vision and strategy and will be driving a high-performance culture by role modelling the organisation's values and commitment to collaboration, building on WLZ`s successful track record and playing a key leadership role in the next phase of their strategic growth and development.

We are looking for a fully qualified Accountant, with significant post-qualification experience in senior management positions within fast-paced environments, leading teams, ideally in an outcomes-focused organisation.

Highly analytical and strategic, you will have the ability to translate complex financial data and communicate clearly to a range of audiences and senior stakeholders. You will be solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail and have intellectual rigour and willingness to roll up your sleeves in a small team.

Critically, you will be a confident self-starter with the desire to work in a dynamic environment, working towards tight deadlines and have a genuine passion and interest in the vision and mission of West London Zone.
