Do you want the opportunity to take the lead on a range of key charity events, such as the London to Brighton Cycle, Bath Half Marathon to the Berlin Marathon? If so, then an exciting position has arisen to join a leading national health charity as Community and Event's Assistant. The role is based in North London and paying between £23,920 - £26,627.

The role

The aim of the role is to raise income from a range of community and events fundraising activities. This could be by leading on a select few key events, to supporting on major events such as the London Marathon - the charities biggest fundraising event. Along with this, you will be the main point of contact for customers and supporters whether this is by phone or email. You will ensure that they receive the best stewardship to engage them with the charity and the work they do. Finally, you will support the C&E team with general administration tasks.

Person Specification

You will have some experience working in a fundraising/volunteering environment. You will have good administration skills, along with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will be able to demonstrate empathy towards the cause.


You will benefit from a salary of £23,920 to £26,627, 27 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays), training and development opportunities, cycle to work scheme, pension contribution of up to 6% and season ticket loans.
