The charity is an independent foundation trust and leading pioneer for changing lives, currently recruiting an equally enthusiastic individual to help make an impact.

Description

Communications Manager

Support and work with the Head of Communications and the Director of Communications to organise and design engaging campaigns as well as day-to-day communications outputs across various channels

* Lead and manage a portfolio to showcase different communications and campaigns

* Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, delivering and evaluating the process

* Liaise with various external providers such as photographers, videographers, designers and copywriters to ensure high quality outputs are maintained

* Write, edit and produce engaging content for various forms of media

* Draft, edit and publish content through the Charity's digital communication channels and feeds such as LinkedIn and Facebook.

* Support and work with fellow team members to ensure outstanding communications and projects are well supported

* Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Continue to report back to stakeholders about ongoing progress

Profile

* Able to translate complex ideas into engaging and easy to understand communications

* Has a digital-first mindset with an understanding of diverse audience attractions

* Creative mind-set that will influence and/or help us amplify the work of the charity

* Has the ability to time manage and organise tasks around deadlines

* Identifies news stories that will bring opportunity and value for the charity

* Enjoy working in a high performing, fast paced team environment

* Able to learn from previous communications and provide valuable insight

* Enjoys working in a workplace that challenges the norm and strives for the mission of the charity

Experience (essential)

* Strong copy writing, copy editing and proof reading

* Experience commissioning, managing and delivering

creative projects

* Experience in a managerial role in communications

* Knowledge of design packages including InDesign

and Photoshop

* Use of Content Manager Systems (Drupal)

* Editing video content (Adobe Premiere or equivalent)

* Experience of foundation/ not for profit or health communications
