Position: Head of People and Culture
Location: East London
Salary: circa £70,000
The role of Head of People and Culture will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and have the opportunity to build on the charity’s success; with high ambitions, modern business process, renewed vigour and a strong focus on working collaboratively. Having just launched a new strategic plan for 2018-2023, this is an incredibly exciting time for Scouting and a great time to be joining the staff team.
The Head of People and Culture will work with the SLT to drive a cultural step change throughout the organisation as well as having overall responsibility for driving improvement across the full range of HR Services and Operations.
An individual who has the necessary credibility and is authentic, compelling and credible with a complex set of stakeholders will help to shape and then thrive in a culture of collaboration, empowerment, ambition, innovation and fast-paced change.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Senior HR professional with demonstrable strategic and operational experience across the range of HR specialisms
- In depth experience of culture change and change management programmes
- Proven experience of delivering organisational change in diverse and complex organisation structures
- Depth of experience in not for profit and/or commercial organisations of a similar size and complexity
