Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with one of the world's leading cultural institutions as they search for their new Patrons Manager. This organisation houses some of the world's most important cultural artefacts and is a leading authority on human history around the world. A newly created role, the Patrons Manager will work be responsible for all aspects of the cultivation strategy for the Patrons and will enjoy working in a donor-facing, fast-paced role.
Working within the established and successful philanthropy team, the Patrons Manager will primarily be responsible for excellent relationship management and encouraging existing members of the organisation to contribute to specific capital appeals and revenue appeals. The Patrons Manager will join a team that will be delivering significant income increase in line with the new Patrons Strategy for the institution.
The Patrons Manager will ideally have experience working in a successful development team in the arts and culture sector and will have the confidence and gravitas to communicate with long-established members and patrons. The selected candidate will have experience of working with multiple private donors and be a point of contact in the development office for all patron enquiries, or will bring a healthy commercial sector set of skills, including relationship management and securing face to face meetings.
