Trusts Officer
£24k to £26k Permanent - 37.5 hours a week
Based in Andover, Hampshire
Are you an experienced Trust fundraiser who would love to use your skills to help people affected by sight loss?
Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK. Working with Alan Clayton Associates, the Macular Society is undergoing significant change; with a new vision to end macular disease and a new strategy to significantly grow income in order to fund the research that will find a cure.
The Trusts Officer is a vital part of this vision and your excellent research, relationship building and written skills will help us achieve our ambitions. Working closely with colleagues in the Trusts and Philanthropy team you will manage your own portfolio as well as bring on board new funders to support our wide range of services, research ambitions and core costs.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent written communication skills to produce written materials that are inspiring, concise and informative.
- An up to date knowledge of fundraising research sources and methodologies.
- Ability to work proactively under own initiative.
- A team player, with a flexible approach willing to work with and support colleagues across the organisation.
As part of the interview process you will also be required to complete a written assessment.
