Job Details

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Philanthropy team seeks to engage philanthropists and their families. We have ambitious growth targets over the coming five years, and this role is key to enabling even greater results for children. The main focus of the role will be the management of high value relationships, as well as our gender, women and girls focused major supporters.

This is a varied role and your duties will include leading a strategy to grow and progress GIFT – our current giving group focused on girls and women’s programmes. You will also develop strategic, two-way relationships with new and existing major supporters, among other tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will have substantial experience in major gifts fundraising. You should also be able to quickly get up to speed with processes and information and want to be part of a fun, hardworking team.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date:10am, Monday 19 November 2018.

Interview date: Tuesday 27 November and Wednesday 28 November 2018.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
