We are problem solvers, creating the conditions for lasting change. We work hand in hand with individuals, local communities and partners to tackle the root causes of poverty. By 2030, our ambition is to have transformed the way knowledge and innovation is used to improve the lives of people living in, or vulnerable, to poverty.
Practical Action is now seeking a successor to the current Chair. This individual will be an active and compelling advocate for the organisation externally as well as leading the board in a review of the effectiveness of the current strategy and our governance model.
The new Chair will have experience of, or engagement in, international development and awareness of the current global challenges. To be effective in this role, this person will be a credible leader with experience of hybrid and multi-faceted international organisations as well as having board level experience.
