About the role:

Effective influencing and close connections to decision makers with the power to change students’ lives – that’s what their members expect from them. Our client needs you to help in their mission to change education and society, through their public affairs work.

With collaboration at the heart of your approach you’ll be excited to work with colleagues and members to support a range of public affairs work, including acting as the secretariat for the APPG on students, liaising with key organisations like trade unions and government departments, informing their members about political developments for the members, and pulling resources to help their members make their case in Parliament and elsewhere.

You’ll value student leadership and be passionate about supporting elected officers in achieving their objectives. Your personal values will mean you carry out your work considering issues of liberation, diversity and racial justice and how they impact not only what you do but how you do it.
