School Partnerships Manager
Our client is a youth social action charity which challenges 18 to 25 year olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time voluntary service. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK.
Position: National School Partnerships Manager
Location: London, Birmingham or Manchester
Job type: Full Time, 12 Month Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract, Commencing in January 2019
Hours: 9am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, prepared to be flexible
Salary: £36,300 to £39,900 per annum, with 3-5% employer pension contributions
Benefits: 25 days holiday per year plus one additional day per year after two years of employment, capped at a maximum of 28 days, and a range of other benefits.

About the role:
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, our client is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to the role of National School Partnerships Manager.
The key objectives of the National Schools Partnerships Manager will be to ensure delivery of the current school’s targets, build effective new school partnerships to meet our clients year on year growth targets and demonstrate experienced account management.
The National School Partnerships Manager will have responsibility for increasing our clients profile through school partnerships, building upon progress and partnerships made to date.
About you:
The successful candidate will have significant professional experience and knowledge of the education system, specifically school (although other sector experience would be considered), a track record of success in sales and the ability to lead and manage effectively on behalf of a national charity.
You will demonstrate a strategic approach to growth and sales. You will lead on account management, profile raising and relationship building. You will have excellent team-working skills, be a strong collaborator, able to consider issues from a breadth of perspectives and to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
You will have the ability to adapt to a range of systems, applications and databases. You will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills for both internal and external audiences, as well as strong written skills in relation to the production of pitch presentations, briefings, reports, and terms of reference. You should have a willingness and availability to travel within the UK on occasion.
