Who we are…

We are a local charity with 40 years’ experience supporting adults with autism, learning difficulties and other mental health conditions in Bristol and the surrounding areas in a residential and community setting. Cintre prides itself on creating a person centred service where we work in partnership with our service users to offer choice, control and active participation in the service they receive both now and in the future.

What we are looking for…

We are seeking an experienced and capable Finance Director to join our Board of Trustees to be the leading interface between Trustees and management on financial matters within Cintre.

The Finance Director will be required:

  • To Advise and guide the Board on our financial planning, strategy and effective governance.

Ideally you should have:

  • Demonstrated financial and business experience to include being a member of a recognised accountancy body.
  • A good understanding of charity accounting including SORP and the legal framework in the UK.
  • An interest and commitment to Cintre’s Mission and objectives and a willingness to act as the charity’s ambassador to external bodies, charities and companies.

The role is likely to require an ongoing commitment of 1 day per month.
