The service also delivers a range of dementia specific group and information programmes.

A substantial part of your role will involve managing an experienced and highly skilled team of Dementia Support Workers, Group Facilitators and volunteers. Two key areas highlighted for development across Luton are with GP practices and BAME communities.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will need to be a well-motivated, resourceful and creative person, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a busy service environment. You will be required to act as an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society understanding our strategy and translating this into the services we deliver, you will always champion the rights of people affected by dementia and ensure everything we do is of benefit to them.
