Description

The Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing direct marketing campaigns to acquire new supporters and maintain the support of existing ones
  • To support the delivery of the charities sponsorship programme and develop potential new products to a wide range of audiences
  • Project and manage a range of marketing campaigns related to our client and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Work closely with digital team members to develop, monitor and evaluate digital fundraising strategies
  • Liaise with various departments across the organisation
  • Develop connections with external audiences to maximise profitability for long-term support and growth
  • External connections such as freelance copywriters, telemarketing agencies and creative services should be managed and briefed for the delivery of specific projects
  • Appropriately network with external connections for internal and external events
  • Contribute to strategy and investment planning
  • Support the Senior Development Manager by advising on campaigns and strategy development, including regular reports for results analysis
  • Evaluate previous campaign objectives are reviewed to ensure learning is optimised for future campaigns
  • Maintain reports for good practice and development
  • Oversee required training of fundraisers and suppliers to monitor performance levels
  • Liaise with the Senior Development Manager about annual budget, campaign budgets and development plans for future marketing implementations
  • Monitor campaign expenditure/invoices to ensure approved budget is maintained, this also includes monthly reviews and quarterly forecasts
  • Oversee delivery of data and target campaigns
  • Ensure campaigns and other activities comply with Fundraising Codes of Practice, this includes appropriate use of data handling

Profile

The successful Campaign Manager will have

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills; written, presenting and telephone
  • Experience with direct marketing campaigns
  • Previous successful fundraising campaigns
  • The ability to deliver key messages to a range of audiences, paying attention to any risk associated with these messages
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising databases
  • Experience effectively managing previous projects, budgets and strategies
  • Excellent organisational skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
