Project Manager - Strategic Projects (Fundraising)
Help Amnesty International UK to achieve its vision of a world in which every person is able to enjoy their human rights by managing strategic fundraising and/or cross-organisational projects to enable the delivery of our strategic plan.
About the role
With over seven million members, supporters and activists worldwide, Amnesty International is the world’s largest grassroots human rights organisation. At Amnesty International UK, we want to grow income and the number of people connected to human rights through their support of our work. Working as part of the Strategic Projects (Fundraising) team, your role will be to manage strategic fundraising and/or cross-organisational projects that are key to the delivery of Amnesty International UK’s strategic plan.
You are a proactive and strategic project manager, with strong people skills and the ability to build excellent working relationships - inspiring, consulting and influencing across all levels. You have experience of designing, managing and leading strategic fundraising projects, with a proven track-record across a broad range of fundraising disciplines.
You are passionate about providing best-in-class supporter experiences and have an equal passion for bringing Amnesty International’s work to life. You will use this to provide leadership and vision for cross-organisational projects which inspire people to support our goal of ending human rights abuses.
A natural problem solver, you will have the ability to assess complex problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions to address these by engaging relevant stakeholders, including at senior level. You will excel at facilitating strategic planning sessions and can communicate effectively and with credibility, both in person and in writing. You’ll thrive in the ambitious environment in which we operate, and you’re able to plan and prioritise your workload according to business need.
Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they’re denied. Already our network of over seven million supporters is making a difference in 150 countries. Whether we’re applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we’re all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are respected and protected by everyone, everywhere.
