Our client is proud of the support they provide to adults with learning disabilities. They are looking for individuals who can make a real difference in supporting people with learning disabilities. 

They are seeking Support Workers at their Service in Sydenham, their main priority is to find individuals with the right values and understanding, Commitment, Respect, Equality, Safety, Choice and Contribution, 

You must be able to support people with Learning Disabilities who have different ways of express themselves, smith magentis syndrome, autism and complex communications  

About You:

Whilst previous experience and a Diploma in Health & Social Care would be desirable; it is not essential. As a full time employee you should be able to:

-Work a 38 hour shift system that includes weekends and sleep-in or waking night requirements.
-Be physically capable of moving and handling service users who may be physically dependent. 
-Have a supportive attitude and be willing to help each individual maximise their lives.

For example the Care Certificate Induction training, a Diploma in Health & Social Care (H&SC) levels 2/3 and specialised training e.g. autism, epilepsy.

Salary: £20,155.20 per Annum
