Do you have corporate fundraising or commercial selling experience?  We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Business Development Manager to join our team at a time of change.  With ambitious plans for the future, we are seeking someone who is committed to developing and implementing a corporate funding strategy for the Charity.

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 depending on skills and experience plus an on-target bonus

Location: Bristol

The post holder will work closely with the Commercial Director to develop a strategy for sustainable corporate partnerships in order to secure new long term corporate funding and support for the charity from companies and other health organisations.  This will involve researching and identifying new corporate and business relationships as well as building and developing existing ones.

The post holder will initiate, manage and develop a comprehensive programme of activities to engage corporate supporters and their employees.  Agreed targets will be set for this role and reports on progress will be regularly required alongside budget planning.

The ideal candidate will have experience of networking and be a confident communicator.  They will have experience of partnership development from the application and pitching stage through to stewardship and management of the portfolio.   They will be able to present propositions to a wide range of audiences via written proposals, presentations, phone calls and meetings.  They will also be able to cold call companies identified as potential new supporters.

We are looking for candidates with excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to develop relationships and influence or persuade others with conviction and passion.  A background in corporate business networking is essential as is experience of working to excellent standards of care and service in a customer driven environment.
