Location: London Head office based regional role with international travel

Join a progressive INGO working in partnership with poor and marginalised communities to strengthen their struggle for improved health and social justice.

This is an exciting senior management role that leads on developing and managing programmes and staff in the Asia region. Managing a Programme budget of around £10 million per year this is an opportunity to make a significant impact, strengthen health services in country and address the full range of factors that impact on health. Programmes include: health system improvement and disease control; mental health; maternal and child health; food security and nutrition; water and sanitation; gender justice and eradicating harmful practices; as well as income generation and social enterprise.

Ideally with a background in Health and/ or development, the right person for the role will have a track record in programme development, accessing funds through bids and proposals and managing Programme Implementation. You will be a good strategist who combines excellent practical insight with intelligent analytical skills. Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills coupled with emotional intelligence enable you to forge new partnerships; and your energy and enthusiasm and collaborative, supportive approach inspires and motivates your team.
