Job Details
I am working with leading human rights charity who are looking for a dynamic Major Gifts Manager to join their London office. This is an excellent opportunity as the organisation has ambitious growth plans for the next 3 years. As Major Gifts Manager you will be required to develop, implement and manage the Major Gifts programme and personally secure major gifts from High Net worth Individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a relationship strategy to secure major gifts and grow this income stream in order to meet the organisation's growth targets
Develop a strategy for Celebrity and Patron support
Lead and inspire 2 direct reports
Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, developing individual stewardship plans for your donors, leading to securing five and six figure gifts
Oversee and continue to develop a prospect research strategy, ensuring that the prospect management systems are GDPR compliant
To work collaboratively with the Special Events Manager to maximise opportunities for high value audiences
To work collaboratively with the Trusts and Grants team, Individual Giving team and other Fundraising and Communications colleagues
Essential Criteria:
Significant experience of Major Donor and Relationship Fundraising
Knowledge of Data Protection and other fundraising regulation in relation to major donor fundraising
Experience of securing five and six figure gifts, including making successful face to face asks
Previous line management experience will be essential
Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategy
Experience of developing and growing a mid value donor programme
Experience of developing and managing income and expenditure budgets, and of financial planning and reporting
