Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role: 

Our client are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join the digital team. The Senior Digital Marketing Executive is a hands-on, commercial, results-focused analytical role, that primarily manages the planning & implementation of their email marketing. The post-holder will be the in-house email specialist, as well as having an important role across search marketing, PCC, website and social media, as part of their multi-channel digital activity. 

In particular the Senior Digital Marketing Executive will work with the Digital Performance Manager to inform the direction of their email & search marketing. Additionally, as part of their ambitious Digital Engagement Strategy they have identified a need to improve their integrated marketing and create more impactful and innovative campaigns. This role is key to driving them closer to meeting these goals as you will create, manage and measure campaigns. 

They work closely with internal teams to shape marketing plans to ensure that it meets their strategic objectives. In some cases, you will act as a ‘business partner’ for a particular team, getting under the skin of the type of marketing approach that works for their audiences and objectives, as well as training them to develop more innovative, best practice briefs and integrated digital plans. 

About the team: 

The 16-strong Digital Engagement team, sitting within their wider Brand Marketing department, is responsible for the digital presence of the client and Sparks. Together, they manage websites, social media, email marketing, digital content, insight and analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and SEO – all to increase fundraising and raise brand awareness. They work in a multi-channel way, with one person in the team taking ownership of a campaign / project and working with the wider Digital Engagement team to bring it to life. 

About you: 

You will be an experienced digital marketer with proven experience of creating successful email marketing campaigns. You will also have a solutions-oriented approach, be a team player and have the ability to get stakeholder buy-in whilst delivering best practice and high impact digital marketing, questioning the status quo and maximising ROI. 

You will also have: 

- Flawless copy-editing and proofreading skills (in line with house style) 
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar email marketing software) and online platforms / software to manage digital acidity (Social listening tools, CMS etc.) 
- Experience of managing successful PPC campaigns, across Google Adwords and social media 
- Sound working knowledge of Google Analytics 
- The ability to effectively use photo-editing software like Photoshop 
- The relevant personal skills to excel in the role – attention to detail, flexible can-do attitude and the ability to manage a varied & busy workload
