Do you have the skills to effectively implement time limited projects?

If so we would like to hear from you.

Overview

Care & Repair England is a small, national housing charity dedicated to improving the homes and lives of older people.

We are looking for a self motivated person to head up our work with older people, particularly in London/ South East.

As our part time Head of Programmes you would lead on specific projects, particularly those working directly with older activists, groups, networks and forums, and also contribute to our work to improve the policy and practice links between housing, health and care.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with older people, a good listener, adept at bridging the lay person’s ideas/understanding of issues with wider social policy awareness and vision.

Very importantly, you need to have commitment and drive to improve older people’s lives.

Specific knowledge about housing policy and practice would be desirable, but if you meet our other priorities we can support learning about this subject.

If this sounds like a job you’d love, and you think you can demonstrate the abilities we're looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
