Supported Housing Team Manager
Prospectus are delighted to be partnering with a leading sheltered housing provider, striving to help homeless people build firm foundations by facilitating their independence and integration into society. They are currently recruiting for a passionate interim Team Manager for one of their supported housing sites (87 bed/young people) based in Stockwell.
Working as a Team Manager you will work to provide a high quality accommodation-based support service to 87 vulnerable young people. You will help to lead and direct staff to ensure that the highest standards of service is delivered to service users, and will set clear expectations of quality standards, work plans and targets. As a Team Manager you will have sound financial management of the service budget and will monitor income and expenditure to ensure that the project keeps within set targets and that income is maximised. You will also maintain effective relationships with external agencies to ensure that service users are fully supported, and will represent the organisation on external bodies as appropriate.
To be successful in this position you will have previous experience of supporting vulnerable people with complex needs to achieve independent living, and will have a clear understanding of why people become homeless. You will have strong leadership and communication skills and will be able to demonstrate that you have led a team beforehand. You will also have experience of multi-agency working, and will have demonstrable experience of managing budgets and following financial procedures. Overall, you will be a strong, dedicated leader with a clear passion for supporting vulnerable service users back on the road to independency.
