ABOUT THE ROLE

Everything we do at Breast Cancer Care is about supporting people affected by breast cancer or breast health concerns. We are looking for an Editor to join our Publishing team to help us maintain our large portfolio of print and online patient information.

You’ll need to take editorial lead and manage multimedia projects working collaboratively with our clinical experts, have a meticulous eye for detail, be a stickler for style and have demonstrable writing and editing skills. You should have a passion for making complex information jargon-free and straightforward so it can be understood clearly by people at a vulnerable time in their lives.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in creating and optimising online content as well as in producing more traditional print formats. You’ll need to be a first-class proofreader and be willing to work in collaboration with other members of the Publishing team as well as Digital and Clinical colleagues.

You’ll be joining a friendly, committed and supportive team who value creativity and fresh perspectives.

Since 1973, we’ve been caring for, supporting and campaigning on behalf of people affected by breast cancer. Today, we offer a unique range of services including one-to-one support over the phone and online from specialists and people who’ve been there, plus local group support. From the moment someone notices something isn’t right, through to their treatment and beyond, we’re there to help them feel more in control.
