Help Alive light up the lives of lonely older people
Sadly, it’s very common for older people in care to spend hours with nothing to do and to feel lonely and depressed. Based in Bristol, Alive is the UK’s leading charity enriching the lives of older people and training their carers. We believe passionately that all older people should feel connected to the world around them and our highly successful and innovative activity sessions in care settings make this possible, alongside the coaching we deliver to care staff to equip them to engage more meaningfully.
Who we're looking for
You will have the ability to connect others to our cause and motivate them to support Alive. You’ll be organised, with excellent communication skills and willing to go the extra mile. You’ll be able to demonstrate a good understanding and experience of the basics of community and individual fundraising, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious charity that is growing fast in a sector with huge need. You will become part of a highly motivated group of staff as a key member of the fundraising team.
If you’re enthusiastic and motivated to lead fundraising activities and support our BBC Radio Bristol Alive Appeal we would love to hear from you.
