Job Details

We need a Clinical Representative to join our Trustees, assisting our approach to service development.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Trustee at our amazing children’s hospice in Oxford. We are looking for Trustee who has a clinical backgroung and who is a high performing and experienced person. We are field leaders in children’s palliative care and without a great Trustee Board we could not provide the level of care and support that we do.

The Charity:

HDH provides symptom management, end-of-life care, respite, emotional and bereavement support across central southern England.  We are dedicated to the care and support of babies, children, teenagers and young adults and their families. We provide in-house care at our purpose-built facilities in Oxford, 24/7 and we support people in their own homes, their local community, and in hospitals.  We do this through our expert team of staff and volunteers, working closely with each individual, their family, and the wider team of professionals around them.

The specific role that we are looking to fill is a Trustee - Clinical Representative. Your role would include offering advice, assistance and support to the Director of Clinical services in the further development of our services to children, young adults and their families.

This very fulfilling role is unpaid and a time commitment of at least six days a year plus the requirement to attend other ad hoc meetings and events. Board Meetings currently take place bi-monthly.  Training and support will be provided.
