Job Details

A highly prestigious membership charity prominent in charity finance is seeking a skilled individual for a role as a Sales Ledger & Debt Management Executive. The role will also involve contributing to the month-end management accounts process.

The role will involve:

-Daily Sales ledger processing and key contact for enquiries

-Ensuring control over the processing of invoices, credit notes, receipts and refunds

-Maintaining cash books in Sterling and other foreign currencies and associated bank reconciliations.

-Posting journals for debtors and unallocated income to the Nominal Ledger (SUN) and customer database system (OpenEngage / Accounting Office) and reconciling balances within the two systems

-Processing credit card receipts via Worldpay and reconciling daily Worldpay statements to bank receipts

-Responding to queries and requests for customers relating to statements and sales ledger payments including telephone support

-Reconciliation and clearing of unallocated receipts

-Processing of direct debits and telephone payments for membership renewals

-Debt-chasing as required and overall responsibility for debt collection

-Assisting with management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

-Previous experience in a sales ledger role essential-

-Strongly desirable experience would include the use of Worldpay, exposure to a multi-currency environment and the use of SUN accounting

-An interest in charities and an interest in finance

-Advanced Excel

-Excellent customer facing and communication skills
