Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Operations Officer to provide core administrative support within the professional services team and to the wider school.
As the school's Operations Officer, you will be provide effective operational support to the both staff and students, working closely with the school's core team to provide support for research grant applications, recruitment campaigns and processing claims and invoices. This wide-ranging role also requires close liaison with personnel, working in the university's central HR and finance departments. The post holder will facilitate the harmonisation and development of processes and training across the school along with supporting the planning and organisation of wider school events. You will assist in the preparation of meetings, boards and committees, including the coordination and distribution of papers and minute taking where required.
The successful candidate will be a proven professional with relevant operational and/or finance administration experience working preferably within a Higher Education environment. With substantial administration experience in a fast-paced environment, you will have excellent organisational skills together with great interpersonal skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations accordingly.
