An exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic national charity based in Stratford:

For over 30 years this charity has been working with disadvantaged children and young people struggling with their education due to a wide range of complex family issues. They get children and young people back into school ready to learn, whatever it takes. They are a small dynamic charity with proven impact, about to embark on an ambitious national programme of development.

Due to an internal promotion they now require the following post:

Fundraising Assistant
37.5 hours a week, full time
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Based in Stratford

This is busy and varied role requiring the ability to manage a range of different priorities while maintaining the finest attention to detail. The successful candidate must be highly organised and can expect to work across a number of areas including prospect research, trust fundraising and cultivation events.

The fundraising team is small; while the fundraising assistant is line managed by the Senior Partnerships Manager, they will work other members of the team on specific tasks. They can expect support from across the team as they work together in their mission to generate the income required for the charity to break down barriers to learning for disadvantaged children.

Each member of the Fundraising Team shares responsibility for the overall fundraising target. They achieve this by collaborating and supporting each other; a strong team ethic is a must. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop and grow their skills and to gain experience across a number of fundraising areas.

This charity is based in Stratford, 10 minutes walk from the station and well served with main line trains, including Stratford International, Jubilee and Central line tubes, Overground and DLR.

Closing date for applications: Mid-day Wednesday 7th November 2018
Interviews will be held on: Tuesday 13th & Wednesday 14th November 2018
