Job Details
Our client is a leading communal organisation, and is the largest health and social care charity for the Jewish community in the UK. They provide a wide range of services to help meet the community's physical, social and emotional needs, both directly and in partnership with other organisations. They care for many people, including older people with dementia, disabilities and mental health needs to name a few. They are now looking to recruit a Community Centre Manager to lead their centre in Golders Green.
As their Community Centre Manager, you will lead their flagship community centre, its staff, volunteers, members and surrounding community in promoting inclusivity, excellence and mutuality within the support services provided at every level. Focussed on key areas of management and development, you will ensure that the care and support provided is flexible, safe and provides creative activity opportunity to the community. In addition, you will lead on community development and will work collaboratively to support partner organisations to provide a range of community based services. Finally, you'll lead a team of specialist staff through regular supervisions and will take responsibility of all operations of the centre including high-level finance and maintenance management.
To be successful, you will have proven experience of managing and leading frontline social care services in a centre and community context combined with demonstrable knowledge of the Jewish Community, across all levels of observance, both locally and nationally. You will be a strong leader, with significant experience of leading and managing staff with a strong understanding of working in a multicultural environment. Finally, experience of leading stakeholders within a community to develop an environment of co-production is essential, as is a management and/or leadership qualification.
To be considered, please apply with a Word Copy of your CV. Cover letter is not required at this stage.
