Due to retirement an exciting opportunity has arisen to help a leading charity to achieve its vision.

Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting adults with a learning disability to lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxford which help people with a learning disability live their life to the full.

Position: Assistant Finance Officer - Payroll
Location: Coventry, West Midlands (Commutable from Birmingham, Nuneaton, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £18,677 per annum

About the role:

They are looking for a practiced Administrator for Payroll with at least 3 years' experience; particularly in using / building advanced excel spreadsheets. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work unsupervised. The role will be as diverse as the organisation itself as we pride ourselves in developing and investing in experiences to enhance individual's lives.

You will be responsible for maintaining the payroll for the organisation and you will report to the Director of Finance & Development.

About you:

The successful candidate will be keen to take on new challenges and will be proactive in their approach with excellent attention to detail. You will be educated to an A Level standard and ideally a CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll & Pension Professionals) qualification and or be a part qualified accountant.
