A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Communications and Marketing Administrator for a membership not for profit organisation based in London in order to provide daily administrative support to the Communications & Marketing team and also to help to grow communications and marketing activities and content.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Providing general administrative support to the team and to the Head of Communications & Marketing, including:
-Providing strong and enthusiastic administrative support to the team, including diary support for the Head of Comms & Marketing
-As time allows, working with colleagues to generate ideas, high quality text and other media and marketing content to publicise the organisation. This will include some social media content
-Ad-hoc support, such as obtaining quotes from third parties for advertising and marketing materials

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Organisational skills - must be able to work with minimum supervision, prioritise workload, and handle multiple tasks
Diary management - must be adept in managing diaries and setting up meetings
To be creative and proactive in helping to generate ideas for content
Team player - willing to work collaboratively to achieve common goals
Communication skills - must be able to convey messages clearly and confidently, in written and oral form, and to accept feedback from all levels
Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Instagram
Strong administrative experience, including diary management, essential
Experience of working on communications campaigns, including digital and visual, is desirable
A knowledge of and passion for science will be an advantage
