Kent Wildlife Trust is the leading wildlife charity for Kent and Medway, supported by its members and staffed by committed professionals.  Nature is in trouble and it needs our help.  Kent Wildlife Trust has a plan to aid nature’s recovery and we encourage people to join us to make a difference.

Are you a marketing and communications superstar? Do you thrive on a varied work load that encourages you to apply your skills and expertise to generate top quality communications content? Do you understand local press, understand social media, and have a journalistic eye?

Kent Wildlife Trust is seeking a Communications and Marketing Officer to build and engage new audiences; develop a pro-active local PR strategy to keep our excellent work in the local limelight; and to improve and support income generation across the organisation.

This is a varied role with scope for autonomy and creativity. The role will be supported by the Head of Marketing and Fundraising with the aim of developing our Communications Team. With a focus on using communications activity to support income generation from membership, fundraising and events, this role will benefit from working closely with the team and across the organisation.

You will have experience of developing and delivering communications strategies and of maintaining and promoting a brand.

You will be skilled in project management and budget setting, including coordinating and designing printed and digital publications and content for a wide range of audiences.

But most of all you will be a dynamic, creative, and forward thinking individual who thrives on success and will slot in to high performing team.
