The Job

This post will provide a lead on engaging and supporting volunteers within the Nature’s Sure Connected project. Nature’s Sure Connected will build on the organisational capacity of Kent Wildlife Trust to deliver biodiversity monitoring on a landscape scale.

The post holder will deliver a competitive, engaging and coherent volunteer programme for the project, ensuring that the recruitment, induction, supervision and support of volunteers is delivered effectively and in line with the Kent Wildlife Trust processes and procedures.

You will work with staff within the Conservation, Policy and Evidence department, Reserves departments and with the People Engagement department to ensure that volunteers for the project have effective support. There is an existing pool of over 1,000 registered volunteers.  You will monitor, measure, and analyse the success of the volunteer programme for the project, and report on progress made; you will seek feedback and ideas from existing volunteers and ensure their voices are heard as we plan our work.
