We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to lead the Information, Advice and Support Services Network which provides training and support to local IAS Services across England as part of the Department for Education funded Information, Advice and Support Programme.

Salary: £36,035 per annum

We believe that every disabled child and young person, and those with SEN, and their parents, should have access to high quality, impartial IAS Services.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced project manager ideally with experience of working within an IASS, a good working knowledge of SEND law and the provision of impartial information, advice and support.

Excellent project management and communication skills are essential for this role as are strong IT and writing skills along with experience of running projects, managing budgets and organising training events.  You need to be passionate about what you do, have an interest in education and equalities, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable working both independently, with team members and with others in our partner organisations.

A commitment to addressing educational disadvantage for vulnerable groups of children and young people is essential.
