Director of Student Engagement

We are seeking a Director of Student Engagement to provide a powerful voice for our students and enable them to develop brilliant skills for the future. The Director will work closely with students and our diverse staff team to ensure we deliver outstanding student services and support our student democracy. The Director will coach and support student officers and staff to empower our student members to deliver lasting impact for them, their worlds and the Union. The Director will also develop a team culture that embraces our diverse staff team and will work closely with the University to develop collaborative projects.

We are seeking an inspirational leader and coach who is values driven and empowers others to achieve their full potential. With direct experience of working within membership or youth engagement organisations, our new Director of Student Engagement will have a track record of working closely with a range of internal stakeholders to develop outstanding beneficiary-led services. As a strong relationship builder, the Director will also work closely with external stakeholders, including the University, to ensure the very best support for students. With a broad remit, the Director of Student Engagement will be able to adapt quickly to differing priorities and will be passionate about achieving the very best opportunities for our diverse students.
