An exciting opportunity has arisen to help a leading charity to achieve its vision.
Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting adults with a learning disability to lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxford which help people with a learning disability live their life to the full.
Position: Office Manager
Location: Coventry, West Midlands (Commutable from Royal Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Rugby, Solihull and surrounding areas)
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Starting at £22,327
Closing Date: 19 October 2018
Interview Date: Thursday 01 November 2018
About the Role:
They are looking for a confident, dynamic and intuitive Office Manager to lead their reception and administration team to ensure a professional and smooth service. You will take pride in the office facilities in Coventry and Oxford maintaining the work environment.
This role will incorporate the monitoring of data and you will help maintain our clients website and intranet as well as managing marketing materials and providing support for promotional activities. You will also administer health and safety for the offices.
About you:
The successful candidate will be keen to take on new challenges and will be proactive in their approach with excellent attention to detail. You will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience and will have practical knowledge of health and safety in the workplace with a high safety consciousness.
You will have recent management experience in an office environment and will be extremely confident using the Microsoft Office Package (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.). This role involves the supervision of staff and skills in this area are essential as is experience of digital data control (monitoring data via spreadsheets, ability to calculate data in Excel etc.)
Experience in website or internal intranet maintenance would be an advantage, but training is available in this area. A working knowledge of social media (such as Facebook, Linked In etc.) would also be an advantage as well as marketing experience.
