The organisation:
A human rights campaign
The role:
To line manage a Senior Officer and to work with colleagues in the organisation
To lead and develop the parliamentary influencing strategy and resulting activities to lobby and represent the organisation in Westminster & and Whitehall.
To build strong relationships with similar organisations and help build stakeholder relationships.
The candidate
Experience of successfully engaging in parliamentary lobbying and advocacy with a good understanding of broader influencing tactics to achieve change.
Knowledge of government and parliamentary process and structures and how they can be accessed to achieve change.
The ability to line manage a member of staff and to apply research-generated information and policy to create change.
