Do you have media relations and journalistic skills, and would you be excited to work for a charity based in central London? The charity has a wide reach and delivers initiatives that encourage public engagement and participation in positive social action.
In this role you will develop, grow and maintain their core PR resources and records, you ll be the relationship management point for all media case studies and the individuals and projects involved and will regularly interview and refresh content. The primary aim will be to upwardly drive awareness and increase participation in the campaigns and initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
You will have experience in a PR related role and hold media relations skills. You ll be a dynamic, highly-organised press officer with strong PR experience and a journalistic nose for a story. Good knowledge of the media landscape is required, and experience of building target media lists and developing relationships with journalists essential. You ll be highly organized and able to build and maintain media contacts (using Agility) and manage case studies effectively. A good network of England media contacts is highly desirable.
