Our client is recruiting a Partnerships & Fundraising Manager to join their passionate, dynamic and energetic Partnerships & Fundraising Team.

As Partnerships and Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships ensuring they maximise income and other benefits, as well as playing a key role in identifying and securing new business for the charity. 

Founded in 1911, they provide young people aged 9-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of locally accessible youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over four million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment. Their mission is to provide access to appropriate, high quality services for young people in every community so that all young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances. Their work engages young people most in need of support with 77% of the young people on their programmes facing at least one barrier to progress and over half living in some of the most deprived areas of the UK. Thanks to high quality youth work delivered by a trusted adult in a local safe space, 88% of their young people report improved key life skills after engaging with their skills development programmes. 

This is an exciting time to join their fundraising team as they look to build on their success and grow their impact. They already have a strong network of committed corporate partners who support their work through donating money, time and expertise to support their mission. These partners include well-known brands such as Microsoft, UPS, Starbucks, Coca Cola, Lloyds Banking Group and PwC to name a few

They are looking for an experienced and creative account manager to deliver excellent relationship management to a varied and interesting range of corporate partnerships as well as support the team to secure new business. You will also lead an exciting new partnership starting in January with a well-known high street store. This is a new area of work for them and one that this role will develop. You will be a skilled and personable relationship manager; excel at developing internal and external networks and feel confident in communicating to a variety of audiences.

They offer a salary of between £30,000- £35,000. Additional benefits include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme (currently they match employee contributions up to 5%), a life insurance scheme which would pay out up to 4 times your salary and 15% off at Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, Runners Need and Cycle Surgery.

They are a flexible employer and will to consider applicants applying for this role on working on a part time, flexible basis or job share basis, this will be subject to operation need. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required as part of this role.
