Description

The Individual Giving team delivers a busy direct marketing programme to raise a gross income of around £3.3 million from our individual supporters and circa £8 million from legacies each year. To help us achieve this aim we are looking for a direct marketing specialist to join our top-notch team on a temporary basis.

To support the Individual Giving team in project managing multiple direct marketing campaigns, across a number of media channels. You will be working on the development and implementation of direct marketing plans across direct mail, email, TV, telephone, digital & SMS

Alongside the team, you will ensure campaigns are delivered to budget, are timely and meet objectives.

To work with the team to produce targeted and effective marketing collateral as briefed which includes managing the end to end delivery

To help with delivery of events as required

Have excellent attention to detail and written communication skills

Analyse results and regularly monitor and report on campaigns producing regular reports and suggestions for improvements.

Working collaboratively across internal teams and with external agencies.

To write briefs and copy for both on and offline communications, direct marketing campaigns and thank you letters.

Profile

Experience in Direct Marketing, including direct mail, doordrops and inserts

Experience of working with relevant agencies including creative agencies, telemarketing agencies and response handling agencies

Experience of coordination of high profile events

Previous experience of managing external relationships with suppliers

Experience of implementing and monitoring of budgets

Experience of compiling results and data analysis
