Head of Finance and Resources

Central London

Remuneration: £50,000 -£57,000

The charity has a dynamic Chief Executive and high ambitions for the people they serve, and they are now seeking a highly experienced finance professional to lead a high-quality finance service and manage the finance team and business support service to the Charity.

Key duties will include leading a small team that is ambitious, innovative and professional to support the charity in achieving its strategic goals and vision, by leading and implementing a first-class financial strategy and plan and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Charity.

Key responsibilities include:

- Responsible for leading and delivering excellent budgeting, financial reporting, management and systems - to support excellent management and governance of the Charity.

- Providing timely and accurate financial information, reporting, analysis and advice to the Chief Executive, Trustee Board and Committees - to inform robust strategic and operational decision-making.

- Maintaining a compliant restricted funds register and developing effective and efficient ways of working with the fundraising team, ensuring funders receive timely and accurate reports.

- Leading a robust business support function including strategic data gathering and analysis and strong management external suppliers including IT, HR, legal and property.

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration, cross-team working, and results and aligns with the charity values and mission.

You will be a strategic finance leader with experience of leading a successful finance function and extensive experience of charity SORP and accounting within the charity sector.

A qualified Accountant, you will bring excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
