Our client, a leading provider of housing services for individuals with high support needs including substance misuse, offending behaviours and mental health issues, are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker for one of their Lewisham supported housing services. This role is offered on a temporary, ongoing basis.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing an effective, high quality support service to address the presenting needs of residents in a busy hostel which supports vulnerable people with complex and enduring needs. Working under the direction of the Service Manager and Team Manger you will support a caseload of client to assist in enhancing their life changes by adopting an opportunities-led approach.

To be successful, you will possess significant experience of effectively supporting a caseload of vulnerable adults with complex needs in a similar housing context.

Thorough knowledge of the issues faced by individuals who are homeless is essential, as is previous experience of carrying out keywork sessions. A strong understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and confidentiality is paramount.

To be consider, you must be available immediately and be in possession of a fully enhanced DBS check that is registered to the online update service. This project operates a 24/7 service with a rolling rota in place, therefore you will be required to work early, late and weekend shifts.
