Choices is an exciting new employment programme in Allerdale & Copeland funded by the Big Lottery and European Social Fund until September 2019 with potential extension.  Working in partnership with 8 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, Choices will support 450 long term unemployed people into or towards employment. 

Job title: Team Leader
Salary: Circa £24,000 per annum
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week
Location: Workington

A bit about you

As a Team Leader you will provide front line management to the delivery team in Workington and outreach offices. The delivery team support participants that are long term unemployed and have complex barriers, move towards and access training and employment opportunities. As part of this role you will need to be able to lead and motivate people ensuring that outcomes are met and work with colleagues to ensure quality and compliance is delivered. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, people and communication skills. You will have experience of managing teams, providing supervision and managing performance, quality and compliance. Experience of undertaking caseload management on employability programmes is essential, and a track record in delivering targets.
