Job Details
I am working behalf of a leading national children's charity who are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join their mass participation team. You will be required to develop and grow the mass participation team's portfolio of own events and products that are specific for this charity.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance the participant experience to ensure that the experience surpasses expectations in order to maximise revenue generated.
Ensure the event/product experience fits with the wider audience experience and support journeys, keeping with the brand.
Work to ensure event/product promotional materials are relevant, on time and of a high standard
Classify and implement new opportunities to improve current event/products to maximise income.
Research and identify new opportunities and build on existing activities to develop current portfolio.
Evaluate current activities/products to progress and improve these products to achieve fundraising objectives.
Manage budgets for specific activities and provide financial information as required.
Experience required:
Event management experience and project planning experience
Experience of success in contributing to an organisation's strategy
Highly developed ability to verbally convey information, including fundraising pitches and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to identify opportunities and to research and evaluate their viability
Experience of success in a customer focussed environment such as fundraising, sales or marketing
Excellent organisational skills
Line management experience
