Evaluation and Learning Manager: Investment Partners

£33-37,000pa

Vauxhall, London SE1

Ref: BA1920

Comic Relief is becoming a creative agency for social change, an agency that is proud to be bold, confident and even edgy. Learning about how we can best drive change is central to achieving our vision of a just world free from poverty.

As an Evaluation and Learning Manager you will play a key role in helping us better understand the changes brought about through the work we fund. You will lead the design, development and management of monitoring, evaluation and learning activities across a number of issue-specific grant portfolios. You will also manage learning activity around our grant making and grant management processes, and work with others in the Learning and Strategy team to drive the use of that learning in our decision making. This is a diverse role, involving supporting individual organisations we fund to strengthen their monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) capacities, designing and managing innovative learning studies internally and across grantees, and facilitating collective learning with cohorts of grantees. You will need to be able to work closely with others across teams to ensure our learning remains relevant, timely and useful for the organisations we fund, for our partners and for Comic Relief.

The post will cover a mix of larger and smaller portfolios both in the UK and internationally, so we would value experience from either the UK charity sector or the international development sector and a willingness to work creatively across both.

To apply please visit our website via the link.

Interviews are likely to take place in the week commencing 29th October with the possibility of a second round of interviews soon after.

Comic Relief welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
