Location
London (Central), London (Greater)
Salary
£34,000 to £38,000 per annum
Closing date

We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and live well.

The team

In total the Community and Events team will raise £3.98m in 2018/2019. Using expert relationship fundraising skills, the team looks to build excellent relationships with these supporters, finding out their motivations for supporting Breast Cancer Now and empowering them to raise money in the way they want. We will also seek to offer other relevant ways to support such as cross selling direct debit giving, legacies etc. and non-financial ways to support such as campaigning and raising awareness of our public health prevention messages.

The role

Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, this role is responsible for developing and delivering the Community and Events Marketing Strategy and ensuring key deadlines are met and are within budget. The focus is on marketing channels that drive the most conversions for the best ROI, and optimising our website and digital approach, to help us reach our recruitment goals and increase our net income.

About you

You will have a passion for social media, digital marketing and fundraising, with experience in delivering marketing plans within a fast-paced environment. Using your excellent project management and organisational skills, you will ensure assets needed for our campaigns are delivered on time and to budget; while your attention to detail will ensure that all marketing and website communications represent the charity and our aims in the best possible way. You will be driven and motivated by targets, and able to build positive relationships across the organisation, particularly with the Digital, Data and Brand teams, ensuring that the Community and Events team’s priorities are understood and acted on.
