ABOUT THE ROLE

As a charity that raises £16million a year for our services, the role of digital fundraising is becoming increasingly important in the way we engage different audiences. The newly-created role of Digital Fundraising Manager is pivotal to ensuring Breast Cancer Care delivers the best online fundraising experience for our supporters.

You will account-manage our online fundraising platform partnerships (including JustGiving — more than £20million raised over 15 years — and Facebook’s suite of charitable giving tools) to ensure we are maximising our current performance and exploring new opportunities in digital fundraising.

Working with other teams around the organisation, you will be instrumental in engaging staff with the platforms and new developments in the products they offer.

You will work in close collaboration with the other Digital and Fundraising teams to develop and test frictionless and scalable user journeys to increase engagement and income generation through digital fundraising platforms and our own website. This will include piloting ways to engage with fundraisers and donors on Facebook’s charitable giving tools, and streamlining the platforms and payment gateways used on our websites.

Please note that this role is initially being offered as a fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent depending on the key outcomes of the role being achieved and may eventually include line management.
