Job Details

This leading housing association is part of the G15 (a group of the largest housing providers in London) and seeks to make a difference to provide housing opportunities for those in need.

Description

  • Deliver an effective and engaging communications content to a wide range of internal audiences across a range of channels to promote the organisation's vision and objectives
  • Supporting internal engagement campaigns and support organisational and cultural change to produce clear, engaging internet content that is adapted to relevant audiences
  • Produce and edit content for key internal communications channels including social media, features, e-newsletters, printed publications, digital screens and Yammer
  • Assist with the management of the intranet, drafting and maintaining content and advising teams on the best practice
  • Assist the events manager in the planning and delivery of annual conferences and managing internal events to engage and inform employees
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation
  • Work closely with colleagues in the wider communications team to identify, interpret and re-position messages for colleagues, ensuring consistency with our external messages

Profile

Essential

  • Experience of working in communications - ideally internal communications
  • Experience of planning and delivering events
  • Experience in writing and developing engaging and effective communications across a number of channels (websites, intranets and other online) for different audiences
  • Knowledge and experience of video concept design
  • An understanding of how to position messages and how to present information across different channels
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear copy, relevant to audience and channel
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with an ability and gravitas to operate at all levels of the organisation
  • A creative approach in developing engaging communications
  • A strong team player with ability to build relationships internally
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure environment

Desirable

  • Professional qualification in relevant subject such as communications & marketing, digital, journalism or PR
  • Knowledge and experience of using Sharepoint
